About the Author

Strega Nona, known simply as Nona to friends and curious woodland creatures, spends her days weaving stories of magic, courage, and the quiet strength found in nature. Inspired by a lifelong love of daydreams, Dungeons & Dragons, and the occasional antics of her feline companion, she brings to life a world where the roots of old trees hold whispers of forgotten tales.

When not writing, Nona can be found in the Pacific Northwest tending to her fairy garden, dreaming up her next story, or imagining adventures among the leaves—often while trading secrets with an opinionated group of squirrels. She invites you to wander the paths of Yára Aldaran and hopes you find wonder in its every twist and turn.
